Tara Cunningham, MSN, FNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, a mom of four, and the founder of Sage Wellness & Aesthetics — a boutique aesthetic medicine practice serving Frederick, Urbana, and surrounding counties.
Tara’s path to aesthetics was built on 14 years of frontline clinical experience across some of the most demanding areas of medicine — oncology, women’s health, pediatrics, leadership and aesthetics. That depth of experience along with aesthetic medicine shapes every treatment decision she makes at Sage Wellness & Aesthetics. After completing her Master of Science in Nursing and earning her board certification through the ANCC, Tara combined her clinical foundation with specialized aesthetic training and opened Sage Wellness & Aesthetics with a clear vision — to bring expert, personalized aesthetic care to the Frederick County community in a space that feels genuinely welcoming to everyone.
